Protocol San Francisco is truly a gem. The owner is amazing welcoming, genuine, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience. The cashier was just as impressive: friendly, efficient, and made the whole visit even better. The atmosphere is stylish yet comfortable, and the service is top-notch from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Update: previously gave a 1 star review due to a terrible experience with the petty owner and thousands of views later I'm back for a real take on this shop: Probs the most solid 90s/Y2K grunge jacket/outerwear store in the Haight and not the cheapest. I have 3 jackets from here and always get complimented. Advice as with any thrifted pieces is to triple check the condition cause you won't be able to bring it back--good faith is not a thing here. There's a guy that works there sometimes and he is incredibly kind. Shout out to him.

Awesome selection, and really helpful staff. Got a great denim jacket for a super reasonable price
