Kahanu did a Polynesian manta ray on my leg and I am really happy with it. I came in with an idea about a particular element I liked for the tail and after he drew it out a few times it just wasn't meeting his standards. I really appreciated that he was honest and didn't force something that wasn't going to work. It wasn't a skill issue, it was more about not forcing detail in that really deserved its own piece.
