I recently came into this shop for a brown outline of a sun on my arm. My tattoo artist was Jackie, and after having a very straightforward conversation about the color ink I'd like (light brown) she continued to use an incredibly dark brown. I told her the ink was quite dark prior to her beginning to tattoo me, and she reassured me it would fade to the color I asked for. Long story short, this tattoo is nearly black. I specified that I'd prefer it to appear similarly to a birthmark, but after a month it clearly was not...
