Easy Cowboy Tattoo

I loved this shop! It was small, cozy and welcoming. They have a nice waiting area with big beautiful plants and cool stuff to look at. I got a tattoo from Slim Bishop and dang was he fast! He gave me a perfect birthday tattoo and was a true Texas gentleman (unlike some other male tattooers I've encountered). Will definitely be back again soon.

As long as Benjamin King lives in Austin, there's no reason to go anywhere else. I started going to him a couple years ago. It's nerve-wracking to go to a new artist, but I immediately loosened up when I learned that the black-and-white photograph hanging in the foyer was not a photograph--it was actually one of Ben's paintings. He is a masterful artist, he is a genius tattooist, and moreover....he is just a good guy. He's done 13 tattoos for me, 24 different sessions. All but three have been extremely fine-line. With proper aftercare, my tattoos look immaculate even years...
