My wife and I just had new tattoos done by Jay, they are amazing! He really took our ideas and made them so much better. We each now have 8 tattoos and all have been done by artists at Blackwood. I can't recommend them enough!! They are so welcoming and the environment is great for anybody. We both had wanted tattoos but didn't know where to start. My wife and I wondered in one day and felt very comfortable right away, and we didn't start until our mid 60's!!! So if you want talent along with a safe comfortable environment...

I moved to SD after 8 years and a full sleeve by another artist. I did a lot of research and found Kris. His black and white realism is absolutely incredible. Lifelike, really. Everyone is the shop is extremely talented and friendly to boot. I've had artists take 30 min breaks every other hour, but man, if you're good Kris is good and he just keeps rolling. I'd highly recommend Kris and all of the guys at Blackwood. I've completed the lower half of my other arm and am scheduling another full day session this week.

Kris is an amazing artist! I couldn't be more happy with my ink. The shop is super clean and he is very professional and creates an overall comfortable, quality experience. I will definitely be going back for my future work.
