Des and her shop are amazing. When she realized I drove an hour over state lines to get a tattoo (and not just a consult), she accommodated me, no questions asked. The shop was clean. The a/c was cold. The snacks were yummy (she even let me take some to go)! The music was great (Hozier... one of my favorite artists). I can't recommend Des enough! Not only is my tattoo beautiful, not only was the shop incredibly adorable, comfortable and welcoming, but Des was so incredibly kind and accommodating. This was my first tattoo on my leg and I struggled so badly with involuntary spasms. I've been to plenty of shops and worked with others who would have made me feel bad about it, but Des was kind, patient and adjusted her technique to make sure I got the best tattoo possible despite my body not cooperating at times.
