Got tattooed by the wizard himself, Andrew Hoch at Empire Tattoo in Quincy, and let me tell you--this man understood the assignment. I walked in with an idea, and walked out feeling like a walking piece of sacred art. The centerpiece? A badass lotus flower with a gem that looks like it was mined from a fantasy novel, surrounded by beadwork fancier than anything in my jewelry box. ANDREW IS AMAZING!!! I have a bunch of tattoos, most very colorful and intricate, but the best tat I've ever gotten was by Andrew. It's so vibrant and unique and I get compliments on this one all the time. Andrew has an amazing "bedside" manner. He's so easy to talk to, funny, and interesting. When I was ready to tap out after about an hour and a half, he started telling jokes and distracted me so we could get the job finished. It's been about a year and I forgot to write this, and my Kuromi tattoo looks better than...

Amy did an amazing job on my memorial tattoo. She paid attention to detail and was friendly, and I was relaxed. Hardly felt anything. My first time at Empire and the staff were great. I'll be back to get some coloring and maybe get an older tattoo touched up.
