Tattoo Avenue

Had my first big tattoo done by Marti and had the best experience! In the past, artists have been nice-enough and professional but I hadn't felt comfortable with them and with a longer session ahead of me, I wanted someone I could connect with. I did research and found Tattoo Ave and found Marti: their love of marine life was all I needed to see. They are kind, inquisitive, and communicative. We chatted and giggled and the work was gorgeous. I eagerly await my next idea or their next unmissable flash to go back!

This shop is the best! My cousin started getting tattoos from Stephen and they looked so good, half the family goes to him now lol! Not only is he an amazing artist, the shop is super warm and inviting. It's always a friendly visit, never just an appointment. We live in the suburbs and will absolutely drive the hour plus every time. Highly recommend this shop!

I've been getting tattooed by Stephen since 2018 or so and he is by far the best artist in Chicago and I've been getting tattoos since 1993. The shop is such a chill place and while I haven't had work done by other artists there they always seem professional, kind, and equally amazing. Every time someone compliments me on a tattoo I tell them to go to Tattoo Avenue. The photo below is my recent tattoo from Stephen that was completed in February.
