Memorial Tattoo

I'm pleased beyond all measure! I had Phil work on a piece that was a cover of a bad cover. I've been walking around with it for a few years hating it. I'd been hearing about white/on black designs for awhile and did some research locally and settled on Phil Colvin at Memorial. I'm really glad I did. You don't have to be stuck with shitty work! You can always have something reworked. Go see Phil you won't be sorry!

My experience at memorial tattoo was phenomenal! The space was clean, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and I walked out with exactly what I wanted. I went to Phil for some portraits of my dogs and it turned out better than I could have expected. 10/10 would recommend!

I genuinely hate writing reviews like this, especially when I came in with so much excitement and trust. I chose Chico expecting a professional experience and a clean, meaningful tattoo. What I got was a slanted, unbalanced reminder that not everyone takes pride in their craft the way they should. The issue? The stencil. The first placement was clearly off -- no big deal, that happens. But instead of completely removing it and resetting, Chico lightly wiped it (not thoroughly), laid the new stencil on top, and moved forward. That leftover ghost line threw everything off. And now? My tattoo...
