I had a top notch experience getting tatted here. I came up with the idea of wanting a science themed partial sleeve in color, and Poet(Shawn) took it on. I sent some pictures over and he made everything come to life. He took what I had in mind and put his own style and interpretation on it, and actually made it way better than I imagined. It was a bit nerve wracking to get permanent art on my body, but I'm super happy with the result.

At age 56, I finally got my first tattoo, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I chose a columbine flower paired with the phrase "amor fati" -- a design that holds deep personal meaning for me. The columbine, with its delicate yet resilient nature, perfectly symbolizes growth through adversity, while "amor fati" (Latin for "love of fate") is a daily reminder to embrace all aspects of life, the good and the challenging, with open arms.
