As a first time client, I approached artist and shop owner Joseph James with a general concept and a few specific details for an American traditional cowboy tattoo. Joseph and I had a thorough collaborative conversation as to create this character that I had only partially visualized prior to stepping into Paradise Tattoo. After our conversation, he drew up a sketch that I absolutely loved. The tattooing process was both comfortable and pleasant, with good conversation and a warm atmosphere.
